About Dr. Patel
Dr. Nachiket Patel is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology. He specializes in the treatment of Coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Dr. Patel started his journey in the medical field by completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then went to the Chicago Medical School where he received his Doctor of Medicine with a distinction in research.
He did his internal medicine residency at Creighton University in Omaha, NE and cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville where he served as chief fellow his third year. Dr. Patel made his way to Phoenix where he completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center and advanced training in peripheral and endovascular interventions.
When not working with patients, Dr. Patel is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Patel provides his services in the Phoenix and Mesa areas.
